Dungeon Rules

  • Respect. We all enter this space as equals and treat each other as such. Do NOT voice criticisms of others’ play, attire or appearance and remember that what happens at parties stays at parties. Respect the space, respect the play, and respect the privacy of others!
  • Dungeon Monitors. The Dungeon Monitors are responsible for ensuring compliance with these rules and maintaining an enjoyable environment for all.
  • Dungeon Monitor Decisions Are Final. The Dungeon Monitors have final say on all activity within the dungeon! They have the right to stop any scene that they feel is unsafe, non-consensual, or too intense for this venue.
  • No Cell Phones or Cameras. No cell phones or cameras or other recording devices are permitted within the dungeon. You MUST LEAVE the dungeon to check your phone. You may be asked to leave Pandemonium in the Prairies for violation of this rule.
  • Report Injuries and Equipment Problems. All injuries or any equipment problems MUST be immediately reported to a Dungeon Monitor.
  • No Alcohol or Illegal Drugs. Alcohol, non-medicinal cannabis, and illegal drugs are prohibited at all times and in all places at Pandemonium in the Prairies. You will be asked to leave Pandemonium in the Prairies for violation of this rule.
  • No Intoxication. Anyone who is noticeably intoxicated will be denied admittance to the dungeon and may be asked to leave Pandemonium in the Prairies.
  • No means NO! All play involves only consensual acts.
  • House Safewords. The house safewords are RED and SAFEWORD. If you will be using a gag or any other vocal restriction, have an alternative visual safeword established and inform the Dungeon Monitor. The Dungeon Monitor will intercede if scenes are not stopped immediately when a house safeword is called or visual safeword is used.
  • Ask Permission! You may not touch others or their toys without first asking and then receiving an enthusiastic YES.
  • Do NOT Interrupt a Scene. Do NOT interrupt a scene for any reason. If anyone else’s play is bothering you, do NOT intervene in their scene. Instead, inform a Dungeon Monitor. This also applies to any incident or accident that you see in the dungeon. You may also step away if you are bothered, but the scene does not have a safety concern.
  • You may NOT join a scene in progress unless explicitly invited to join PRIOR to the start of the scene. You MUST inform a Dungeon Monitor before the scene starts if you will be joining after it has started.
  • Watching scenes from a respectful distance is permitted. Please keep all conversations to a minimum inside the dungeon. If you are conversing, ensure your volume is low enough to not intrude on scenes.
  • Do NOT sit on dungeon furniture and other equipment unless you are playing in that dungeon play space.
  • All scenes and forms of play including sexual contact MUST take place in the designated dungeon play spaces.
  • Sexual Contact. Sexual contact is permitted in dungeon play spaces. Barriers (condoms, dental dams, gloves, etc.) MUST be used for penetrative sex.
  • Safer Sexual Practices. This MUST be followed at all times. Any item inserted into a body cavity MUST have an impermeable barrier applied. Toys MUST have condoms before insertion and hands MUST be gloved. Two exceptions to this rule are for
    • urethral sounds, or
    • electrical devices.
  • Solo Scenes Are Permitted. A spotter is required for solo play that involves suspension or restrictive bondage. A spotter may be required at the discretion of the Dungeon Monitor.
  • Solo Masturbation is Not Permitted. Occupying a dungeon play space or using a piece of furniture specifically for the sake of solo masturbation is not allowed.
  • Vomit, scat, golden showers/water sports, rape play, or face punching are NOT permitted.
  • Firearms (real or replica), stun guns, tasers, mace, pepper spray, bear spray, or similar items are NOT permitted.
  • Bullwhips longer than 5 feet are NOT permitted.
  • Wax Play or Messy Scenes. Please use a drop cloth for wax play or “messy” scenes. Note that wax play and messy scenes are NOT permitted in the Church.
  • Blood or Needle Play. You MUST use a sharps container, gloves and/or other barrier material (even between fluid-bound partners), and a non-permeable drop cloth.
  • Fire Play. Fire play is NOT permitted.
  • Electrical Play. Make sure your electrical equipment is in good working order, and that extension cords are not frayed or otherwise damaged. You are responsible for bringing your own extension cords.
  • Breath Play. You MUST talk to a Dungeon Monitor before any scenes involving breath play. No breath play involving drowning or items such as rope, belts, etc., around the neck will be allowed.
  • If you are planning a heavy, “take down”, loud, or edgeplay scene, please talk to a Dungeon Monitor beforehand.
  • Clean Up. Please clean up after your scene and move your personal items away from the dungeon play spaces promptly. You MUST wipe down all equipment with the cleaning supplies that are provided. Follow the directions on cleaners when using them.
  • Aftercare. There will be a dedicated Aftercare Area. Please do NOT perform aftercare in your dungeon play space.
  • Food and Drinks. Food and drinks (except for bottled water) may only be consumed in designated areas.
  • No Prostitution. Prostitution is described as the act of offering or providing sex for money and is prohibited at Pandemonium in the Prairies.
  • No “Professional” Scenes. A Professional scene that provides a play scene for a fee is also prohibited at Pandemonium in the Prairies.
